Can all stores offer tapping with Vipps?

Yes, it works in almost all stores in Norway. Your payment terminal must accept BankAxept cards, which most terminals in Norway do.

Note! If you have a terminal that only accepts Visa (e.g., Zettle or SumUp terminals), your customers cannot tap with Vipps just yet.

By summer 2025, it will also be possible to tap with Vipps via Visa and MasterCard, meaning customers will be able to use Vipps worldwide. How cool? 😎
