Why haven't I received the money that was sent to me?

If you haven't received the money that was sent to you, but you see the transaction in the transaction list, consider the following common reasons:

  • The money should be received immediately, including the weekends.
  • Please note that the recipient’s bank must be a part of the real-time payment service for the transfer to appear in the recipient’s account immediately.
  • In the app, make sure that the receiving account you marked is a valid account that is open for payments. If this is confirmed, it may be that the transfer has been delayed and will reach you no later than the next banking day, or that the bank has marked the payment for review.
  • If you have not received payment on the next banking day, you should contact your bank.
  • If your bank informs us that the receiving account you have added to the MobilePay application is not open for receiving money, we will contact you and ask you to check whether the account you have chosen is correct.

When the payment is visible in the recipient’s MobilePay activity list, it has been successfully made, and the payment is on its way.

Banks that are included in the real-time payment service:

OP, Danske Bank, Nordea, POP Banks, S-Bank, and Savings Banks. You can check with your bank whether it is covered by the service (SEPA Instant Credit Transfer).
