Why do I have to verify the transfer in my mobile bank application?

If the account that you are making a payment from is linked to a bank that has a partner agreement with MobilePay, there is no need for additional verification. If your bank do not have a partner agreement, the account-based payment in MobilePay requires an app switch that takes you into their mobile banking application to verify the transaction. The additional strong customer authentication is a requirement from the bank to confirm the authenticity of the payment.
