Why did I receive an SMS about a new device on my MobilePay profile?

To help keep your MobilePay safe, we send an SMS whenever MobilePay is installed on a new device. This allows you to quickly notice if someone else has gained access to your account. If it was you, you can safely ignore the message. If it wasn't you, you should act immediately. For more guidance, see: Do you suspect that you have been scammed?
