Supported operating systems

MobilePay supports the operating systems iOS 16, Android 8 or later versions. If you have an older version of the operating system than this, you should update the phones operating system.

MobilePay will still work on iOS 15 and Android 6 and 7, but we strongly recommend updating to a newer version. We have some exciting updates coming soon, and to make sure you can enjoy them, you will need at least iOS 16 or Android 8 on your phone. In the future, MobilePay will no longer work on iOS 15 or Android 6 and 7.

If your phone is too old to update to an operating system version MobilePay requires, you unfortunately cannot use MobilePay on your device.

MobilePay uses Google Play Services. MobilePay will therefore not work on phones that do not have Play Store/Play Services. If your Android phone has Play Store, you can use MobilePay.
