Why do I need a receiver card?

You need a receiver card in Vipps so that Vipps knows where your money should go.

• To receive money from someone in Sweden, Denmark or Finland, you need to choose a ‘receiving card’ in your app. The same goes for the receiver, so if you want to send money to someone in Sweden, Denmark or Finland, they must choose a ‘receiving card’ in their app.
• Your receiver card can also be used to receive instant payments from someone in Norway, if the other person sends you money from a card.

To change your receiving card:

1. Tap 'Me'
2. Tap 'Accounts and cards'
3. If you haven't added this card to Vipps, make sure to add it first.
4. Select the card you want to use as a receiving card
5. Tap 'Receiver card'
6. Confirm the receiving card
