Why do I need a receiver card?

A receiving card lets you receive money instantly, regardless of whether the person sending you money uses a card or a bank account.

In addition, you need a receiving card to receive money from someone in Sweden, Denmark or Finland. The same applies to the recipient, so if you want to send money to someone in Sweden, Denmark or Finland, they must select a receiving card in their app.

To change or select a receiving card:

1. Tap 'Me'
2. Tap 'Accounts and cards'
3. If you haven't added this card to Vipps, make sure to add it first.
4. Select the card you want to use as a receiving card
5. Confirm the receiving card
