What do I need to use Vipps?

If you are over 15 years old, you need:

• BankID, if you don't have this, then contact your bank
• Norwegian social security number, or D-number - if your bank offers BankID for those with a D-number
• Norwegian telephone number
• Registered address in the population register
• Norwegian debit or credit card
• Norwegian Bank account
• E-mail address

Users under 15 years old need:

• Norwegian bank account registered in the child's name
• Norwegian telephone number
• Both parents must have an active Vipps profile
• Both parents must be identified in Vipps
