How do I create Vipps for those under 15 years old?

How you create Vipps for your child:

Vipps automatically retrieves information about parental responsibility from the National Registry.

1. Have the child's phone number and bank account ready before you start.
2. The child downloads Vipps on their phone.
3. In your own Vipps app, tap 'Me'
4. Tap'Add child' and follow the steps
5. The other parent will receive a SMS that you are creating a Vipps user for your child

Both parents must consent for the child to send money with Vipps. Tap 'Me' in your own Vipps, tap the child's name, and then toggle on 'Allow your child to Vipps others'.

If you are a foster parent or guardian for your child, we can help you create a profile

• If you are not registered with parental responsibility for the child in the National Registry, you can upload relevant documentation to Vipps. The confirmation must be no older than 12 months. The format must be in PDF. Processing takes up to 3 working days. You will recevie an SMS when the child can download Vipps and create a profile by following the steps above.
• If the child has previously had Vipps, this profile must be deleted before we can create a new one for you.
