How does the activation code work?

• The code gives you access to all Open Amount and Shopping Basket sales units in your business. That’s why only administrators can generate activation codes.
• The code is valid for 72 hours and can be used by an unlimited number of people.
• Each code consists of 10 digits.
• Users who activate their device with the code will appear in the ‘active users’ table in the business portal.
• You only need to enter the code once – after that, you’re in!

How do I generate an activation code?

• Administrators can generate the activation code under the ‘Get paid app’ selection in the ‘User access’ tab in the business portal. Here, you can see how long the code is active, share it or delete it.

How can I delete/deactivate the activation code?

• An administrator can delete or deactivate the activation code before the 72 hours are up. Once the code is deleted, no one else can use it to activate new devices. However, users who have already activated their devices with the code will remain logged in.
