Parental controls – how do they work, and what can I see?

As a parent or guardian, you have full visibility into your child’s activity in MobilePay.

You can see:
  • Who your child has received money from and sent money to.
  • All chats.
  • Where your child has paid using MobilePay.
  • Withdrawals from the MobilePay balance.
  • Wish lists your child has created, as well as lists they have saved from others.
  • Your child’s MobilePay balance.
You can turn the following features on or off:
  • Whether your child can send money to and receive money from other people.
  • Whether your child can make payments to businesses or organisations using MobilePay.
  • Whether your child can create and share wish lists.
  • Whether your child can shop online.
  • Whether your child can add a payment card, provided they are at least 13 years old.

You’ll find everything you need in your own MobilePay app in your profile → ‘Children’, where you can select your child’s name.

It can be a good idea to review your child’s MobilePay history together regularly – for example, once a month 💡
