Supported operating systems
MobilePay supports the operating systems iOS 16, Android 8 or later versions. If you have an older version of the operating system than this, you should update the phones operating system. Please notice that in case you need to use the MitID app in the MobilePay app, MitID only supports Android 10 or later versions.
MobilePay will still work on iOS 15 and Android 6 and 7, but we strongly recommend updating to a newer version. We have some exciting updates coming soon, and to make sure you can enjoy them, you will need at least iOS 16 or Android 8 your phone. In the future, MobilePay will no longer work on iOS 15 or Android 6 and 7.
If your phone is too old to update to an operating system version MobilePay requires, you unfortunately cannot use MobilePay on your phone.
Can't find MobilePay in the App Store or Play Store?
MobilePay is a Danish app and can only be used on Danish mobile phones. Your phone's country selection and language determine what content you see in the App Store and Play Store. Therefore, make sure that your phone is set to Danish language and Denmark as country.
If you still can't find MobilePay, it may be because your phone has an operating system that we don't support (e.g. Windows). Note that MobilePay does not work on phones that are jailbroken/rooted or if 'unsafe' apps are installed on the phone. If you have a jailbroken/rooted phone and you haven't done it yourself, we recommend that you contact the people you bought the phone from or helped you install it. In some cases, the solution may be to reset the phone completely. If you have installed an 'unsafe' app, you must uninstall it before you can use MobilePay.
