Why isn't my payment card working in Vipps?
There can be several reasons why your payment card is not working with Vipps.
Here are some of the reasons why your card might not work:
- Your bank may not support payments abroad, so contact your bank to report the issue. You can see the list of supported banks here.
- Certain MasterCard cards may have restrictions that block payments in one or more regions worldwide. Contact your bank to resolve the issue.
- The card might be blocked for online (e-commerce) payments. Cards from some banks have a default setting that prevents them from being used online. Contact your bank to fix this.
- You must have used the card at least once before registering it in the Vipps app.
