Does Vipps meet the requirements for bookkeeping?

The Vipps report you receive provides sufficient documentation for the payment transaction itself. However, business subjects to bookkeeping regulations are responsible for registration and documenting their sales in accordance with current rules, including the bookkeeping framework.

Vipps doesn’t replace your business’ cash register. If the law requires your business to use a cash register to document all sales, a payment made with Vipps must be treated as a cash sale in your cash register or another system for documenting cash sales.
