Which operating systems are supported?

Vipps supports iOS 16, Android 8, and later versions. If you have an older version, you should update your phone’s operating system.

If your phone is too old to update to an operating system version Vipps requires, you unfortunately cannot use Vipps on your phone.

Vipps uses Google Play Services. Vipps will therefore not work on phones that do not have Play Store/Play Services. If your Android phone has Play Store, you can use Vipps.

To tap with Vipps you need iOS 17.4, Android 8 or more recent versions.
