Which operating systems are supported?

Vipps supports iOS 16, Android 8, and later versions. If you have an older version, you should update your phone’s operating system.

Vipps will still work on iOS 15 and Android 6 and 7 for now, but we strongly recommend updating to a newer version. We have some exciting updates coming soon, and to make sure you can enjoy them, you will need at least iOS 16 or Android 8 on your phone. In the future, Vipps will no longer work on iOS 15 or Android 6 and 7.

If your phone is too old to update to an operating system version Vipps requires, you unfortunately cannot use Vipps on your phone.

To tap with Vipps you need iOS 17.4, Android 8 or more recent versions.
