How do I set up MobilePay for those under 15 years of age? (beta)

You can help your child signing up with MobilePay from the age of 7.

MobilePay automatically retrieves information about parental responsibility from the Finnish Population Register (DVV).

1. Have your child's mobile phone number and bank account number available before you start.
2. The child downloads MobilePay on their phone.
3. In your own MobilePay app, tap ‘Me’
4. Tap ‘Show more’
5. Tap 'Add child' and follow the steps
6. We will send the other guardian an SMS stating that you created a profile for the child.

All guardians must consent to the child being able to pay to other persons. You can give consent by going to 'Me', clicking on the child's name and turning on 'Let your child make MobilePay transfers'. Here you can also give access for the child to pay in the stores and create and view wish lists in MobilePay.

Please note that if the child has two guardians, both must be MobilePay users.
