Why do I need a receiving card?

To receive money from someone, you need to choose a ‘receiving card’ in your app. The same goes for the receiver, so if you want to send money to someone, they must choose a ‘receiving card’ in their app.

To change your receiving card:

Select the Profile icon in the top right corner

Select 'Cards'

If you have not added this card to Vipps, make sure to add it first.

Select the card you want to use as a receiving card

Select Receiving card

Confirm the receiving card
